5 Rules Of Life You should never Forget

As we all know, life isn’t always easy, but that should never stop you from working hard for the life you want and truly being happy. Every woman I’ve encountered, and that includes me, has broken one or more of the four rules of life listed below. That’s okay. Sometimes we need a reminder to help us stay on course.

Know how to win by following the rules.

1. Be Patient – Time heals all wounds. 

  • After going through some form of trauma, you won’t always have the energy to move on right away. A lack of motivation may make you feel mentally weak. That’s part of life. Often, the best thing to do is let time pass. Meanwhile, take care of yourself—body, mind, and spirit. Doing so will help support the healing process.

2. Let go- You can’t change the pasT

Women like to sit down with the past as if it were knitting. Meditating on the past too much, thinking about what should or could have happened is a waste of energy. You can learn from the past, but you can’t change. And so, let it go. By doing so, you can free your mind from the negative influence of past experiences on your life. It will help you to forgive yourself and others so that you can finally overcome what is holding you back. The ability to let go of what happened is central to living a fulfilled life.

3. Turn the frown upside down – Smile

What most people don’t know is that smiling activates molecules in your brain that are designed to ward off stress. Also, when you smile, your brain releases dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin. These neurotransmitters can lower your anxiety and increase feelings of happiness. Serotonin is often the chemical that anti-depressant medications attempt to regulate. This natural, feel-good chemical cocktail that your brain serves up helps you feel happier.

4. Live a great life- social media is a distraction

Social media portrays the good life as one measured in materials, luxury, and outward appearance. What’s much more valuable than money is spending time doing the things that you truly enjoy. That includes spending quality time with the people that you care about most. Instead of being distracted by the typical idea of a good life, work towards living a great life.

5. Realize your power and use it

The long and the short of it is you have the power to give yourself what you desire most in life. You already have everything. There is no need to search elsewhere. In other words, the outside world is only as good as what you do with everything that happens in it. Are you building the life you want?
