Why traveling the World solo is so important

Traveling is so valuable especially when you travel solo as a female. While widening your horizons to completely different cultures, it makes you realize the importance of exploring life on your own. You discover yourself and see how much you are truly capable of.

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.

While men readily jump at the opportunity to travel alone, women have a lot to take into consideration. There are so many presumptions that people have about women solo traveling. However, once you skip over them and look at the greener side, you’ll have an appreciation for the great benefits.

THE freedom is Great

When I’ve traveled abroad alone, I can’t tell you how many people asked, “Aren’t you afraid?” Thank goodness, I dismissed them and followed my intuition as traveling alone transformed my life. Many women, like me, find traveling by themselves to be a renewing and an incredibly liberating experience. In fact, female travel has increased in popularity. Eighty four percent of all solo travelers are now women.

Traveling with girlfriends or family members will, all too often, force you to accommodate others. The luxury of avoiding having to compromise and doing what you actually want is freedom at its finest.

MEETING NEW PEOPLE

The idea of traveling alone may seem boring and lonely to most. But each time I’ve done it I was pleasantly surprised at how easily people will initiate conversations. There’s a natural interest around it. People are usually more apt to lend assistance and play a memorable part in your travel adventure. That’s even with language barriers and cultural differences. There are also so many people who will want to learn more about you and immerse you in their culture. This is the kind of experience that can truly enrich your travels.  The more you learn about other cultures, the more intelligently you can converse about them.

Being well versed in cultures carries a good amount of weight especially with highly success people. They tend to educate themselves by experiencing as main aspects of life as possible. Meanwhile, most average folks only exposure to culture is what they read in books or see in movies. Highly successful people know the strategic advantage of being well-traveled offers in business and in life.  They rarely miss an opportunity to exchange stories about the fine cities they explored. .

What’s more, it is not uncommon for the highly successful to leverage the knowledge traveling gives them.. It’s another handy tool in the box that helps them build relationships easier. After all, people do business and initiate friendships with those they share common interests with.
