In life, much like smoothies, you get out what you put in.
Flawless skin goes arm in arm with a nourishing skincare routine and eliminating toxins from the body. Seeing that winter can slow down circulation, this can cause blood impurities. And so, Spring is the ideal season to detox and give your skin a fresh start. Needless to say, water helps the body flush out toxins while giving you healthier skin. However, fresh juices can also make an even more noticeable difference. Fresh juices are not just hydrating, but they also are loaded with a powerful punch of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. When my skin needs to be revived, adding a detox juice (or two) per day gives it such a fresh glow. Water alone can’t beat it. Here are three of my favorite skin detox juices that get the job done. Use frozen fruit to make this smoothie cold, or serve over ice.
Lemon ginger detox
This powerful mixture is the ultimate healing juice for your skin. While energizing and detoxifying the cells, it hydrates, oxygenates, and alkalizes your body. Due to its high pH levels, lemon can decrease oil on the skin and reduce inflammation. The antioxidants in ginger help preserve your skin’s collagen.

- 1-inch ginger
- 2 stalks of celery
